- Alpha Parents -
We know that parents are the first and most
important educators of their children.
Alpha staff see themselves as partners with parents
in providing care and education for each child.

Parents are encouraged to participate in many ways:
- exchanging knowledge, with the staff, about their children's
needs, activities, interests and progress
- helping at Alpha sessions
- sharing their own special interests with the children
- helping to provide, make and look after the equipment and
materials used in the children's play activities
- taking part in events and informal discussions about
Alpha's activities and curriculum
- joining in community activities that Alpha takes part in
- building relationships with other parents in the Pre-school
